Steven Smith-led Australia have not had the best of starts to their India tour after landing in Chhatrapati Sivaji International Airport at Mumbai.
The touring party had to deal with a strange situation as they had to take care of their own bags instead of baggage handlers and were seen loading their luggage onto the team bus, which will transport their kits to the hotel.
Aussies didn’t have a great time when they last visited India as they were whitewashed 4-0 during 2012-13 season. However, they would be determined to put in a more commanding display this time around.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli-led India are in spectacular form currently as they haven’t lost any of their last 19 Tests. The hosts have just won the one-off Test against Bangladesh and looked in complete control when they defeated New Zealand 3-0 and England 4-0 in the ongoing season.
Australia have had their problems in sub-continent as their batsmen have failed to apply themselves and their spinners have also struggled. Now they’ll have to face the deadly duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in a gruelling four-match Test series, that starts in Pune from February 23.
