European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona meet on Tuesday night in the first leg of their round of 16 tie.
PSG progressed to the knockout phase after finishing 2nd in Group A, two points behind Arsenal.
Barcelona won five of their six matches to top Group C, which also included Manchester City. Barca’s Lionel Messi is currently the competition’s leading scorer with 10 goals already this campaign.
Unai Emry’s side head into the match in good form, having won four consecutive matches. The Parisians are unbeaten in 11 matches in all competitions.
Edinson Cavani has been key to PSG’s recent success. The Uruguayan has already scored 33 goals so far this season, including 6 in the Champions League.
Like their opponents, Barcelona are also unbeaten in 11 matches. Luis Enrique’s side won 6-0 on the weekend to move within a point of league leaders Real Madrid.
The two sides met four times during the 2014/15 campaign, twice in the group stage and again at the quarter-final stage of the competition, where Barcelona progressed 5-1 on aggregate.
PSG lost three of those matches but did manage a 3-2 win at the Parc des Princes in Group F.

Goalkeeper
Goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen will be expecting to be busier than he was at the weekend, with Alaves only managing 3 shots on target in their crushing 6-0 defeat to Barcelona.
He will be especially wary of Edinson Cavani, with the Uruguayan the main threat at the heart of PSG’s attack.
Defence
Although only 4 goals were conceded during the group stages this season, the Barca defence looked vulnerable against Manchester City – shipping three goals in a 3-1 loss to the Citizens.
With PSG striker Cavani known for making intelligent runs in behind, the Barcelona back line will need to be tight to avoid another Champions League humbling.
Midfield
With Sergio Busquets in the centre of midfield, Barcelona have a player who has made over 400 appearances for the Catalan giants – experience that will be invaluable with the sparsely used Ivan Rakitic and young midfielder Andre Gomes partnering Busquets in the middle.
Although PSG arguably have more creative talent in their midfield, it is the industry and solidity of Barcelona that could see them prevail in this fixture.
Forwards
With 14 Champions League goals between them this season, the MSN are one of the most feared strike partnerships in world football.
