Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic could be a great addition to Premier League giants Manchester United, insisted Croatian legend Dario Simic.
The talented winger has been in prolific form off late and have drawn interest from a host of clubs across Europe including a number of big Premier League clubs. His incredible form in the last four seasons have been noticeable as he is one of the most talented players on the wings in Europe at the moment.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all interested in the Croatian international, who has been in sensational form since Euro 2016. But Simic belives he could be a perfect fit at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho.
‘I expected him to leave for a big European club in the last transfer window,’ Simic told TMW.
‘He has the class to play [at the top].
‘I could see him doing well at Manchester United.’
Arsenal have been heavily linked with the 28-year old as they eye him as a perfect replacement for Alexis Sanchez as the latter is expected to leave Emirates this summer. Perisic plays as a similar role to that of Alexis Sanchez as he is a wide winger on the left who occasionally plays as a striker for Inter Milan.
He has been in fine form this season as he has already made 28 appearances for Inter and have scored seven times and assisted six more across all competitions.
Perisic have been improving over the past three to four years as he had a brilliant spell with German club Wolfsburg after moving from Borussia Dortmund which paved way for a move to Serie A.
The 28-year old would be a perfect choice for a number of clubs across Europe as his versatility in the final third could provide plenty of options for any club.
