Transfer Update: Manchester City Not Interested In Selling Star Player To Liverpool Or Chelsea 1
Joe Hart

Manchester City are not interested in selling Joe Hart to a direct title rival, according to reports. The English goalkeeper has lost his place under Pep Guardiola as the Spanish tactician has offloaded him to Italy.

Joe Hart has looked decent during his loan spell with Torino which has drawn interest from title rivals Liverpool and Chelsea, who are looking to sign a new shot stopper this summer.

Despite his impressive outings, his future at Etihad remains bleak next season as the club is ready to sell him once his loan spell ends. However, Clubcall claim City will not sell Joe Hart to a direct title rival.

The news comes as a blow to both Chelsea and Liverpool who are very much interested in Hart as the Englishman possesses plenty of experience in Premier League and is one of the best goalkeepers in the league.

Chelsea are looking to sign a new goalkeeper as Thibaut Courtois’ future at the club remains unclear as he is yet to sign a new deal and has drawn interest from Real Madrid. The Belgian has also expressed his interest to return back to Spain.

Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking for a new keeper as both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet have not looked convincing this season which has hurt the Reds in crucial games in the league.

The report also suggests City are ready to let him stay with the Italian side as a £15million deal is on cards. Hart is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and still has another two years left before his contract expires.

He currently earns £130,000-a-week wages at City but a move to Italy would mean he’ll need to take a huge cut in his wages.
