Dharam Raj Singh, the Ex-principal of India’s recently retired Test captain MS Dhoni, has advised him to help the venture of field of education.

He said:

“Dhoni was a student of my school when I was a Principal of DAV Shyamli School (Mecon). Dhoni can help the boys in educational field”.

“Yes, I am aware that Dhoni didn’t complete his graduation and only passed 12th class. But now being more matured and fluent in English can certainly enter into educational radar”.

Speaking on Dhoni’s sudden retirement from Tests, Dharam Raj Singh said:

“I came to know about his sudden decision through papers this morning. Yes, this strange decision did surprise me but happy that he is still to continue to play the ODIs, and Twnety20s.”

Regarding his education, Dhoni did get the admission in St. Xavier’s college under sports quota in 2008 for his graduation (B.Com), but was exempted from attending classes because of his cricket commitments.

“Now being free from Test burden, Dhoni can certainly devote more time and concentrate on his studies. I think he has not finished his graduation but can complete it now”, the ex-principal added.
