Liverpool attacking-midfielder Suso has all but agreed a 4-year deal with Italian giants AC Milan.

The attacker, who was poised to join the Rossoneri  in the winter transfer market, will have to wait until the summer to couple up with Filippo Inzaghi’s side.

A deal was in place to bring the former Almeria loanee to the San Siro in the January transfer market, but the arrival of Italian attacker Alessio Cerci on a 18-month loan from Atletico Madrid means Suso will join them in the summer when his contract runs down.

Spanish tabloid MARCA have now approved stories from several Italian outlets including FootballItalia that the Liverpool academy graduate is poised to sign a pre-contract with Milan.

They claim that the winger,21, who is recovering from a torn adductor, will pen down a four-year contract till 2019 with the Italian capital side, where he will team up with his compatriot Diego Lopez.

Suso, who is yet to play a single minute for Brendan Rodgers’ side largely due to an injury, excelled on loan last season with Almeria. The gifted attacker scored 3 goals, further setting up 7 for the Spanish side.

Having being linked to Milan for a long time, the Cadiz born youngster will join them in the summer, with the Rossoneri more than happy to snap the former Spain U-17 international on a free rather than paying a nominal fee now.
