After criticising Virendra Sehwag for his tweet trolling Delhi University student Gurmehar Kaur, Lyricist Javed Akhtar has praised Virender Sehwag and called him a ‘Great Player.’ In the recent controversy over Gurmehar Kaur’s video, Sehwag also joined to troll the young Delhi University girl by a tweet.
Since Sehwag undoubtedly a great player has clarified he was just being facetious n is not anti Gurmehar I take back my rather harsh words.

Javed Akhtar in reply to Sehwag’s troll termed him “A hardly Literate player”. Daughter of a martyr, Gurmehar Kaur who is a student of Delhi university posted a video which went viral on social media where she held a poster saying Pakistan did not kill my parents bit the war did.
In reply to that, these two legends came in and expressed different opinions, Javed Akhtar termed Viru’s comment as
“if a hardly literate player or a wrestler troll a pacifist daughter of a martyr it’s understandable but what’s wrong with some educated folks”.
