In The Frame: Twitter Reacts As Virat Kohli Gets Bowled On DRS 1
The DRS-Dressing room saw captains from both teams involving in some verbal volleys post the Bengaluru Test match.

The cricket has so many ingredients at its disposal and one of the important facets of the gentleman’s game is technology and when it comes to reviewing the Umpires call, the Decision Review System becomes handy into action and which unfortunately hasn’t so far yielded some goods to India skipper Virat Kohli, who had plundered runs with his bat at his will, but when it comes to DRS he gets it as bad as Chris Martin had struggled with his batting average.

Kohli had a bad run when it came to the DRS. While breaking into the numbers; the right-handed batsman was caught on the wrong foot most of the times as he had 34 unsuccessful reviews on his name out of 43.

Earlier, while batting on the Second Day of the Bengaluru Test morning session, India lost a review when the ball struck Steven Smith’s pad which was umpire’s call and eventually turned down on the bowling of Umesh Yadav.

Kohli wasted another review when replays suggested the Ashwin’s ball which was far away from the left-handed batsman Matthew Wade’s bat as he lunged forward to offer a shot and further went on to brush his left shoulder. India lost both the reviews inside 12 overs for the second time in a day.

On the bowling of off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, Shaun Marsh was beaten by spin which heard the loud appeal from close-in fielders after he stretched forward to play a defensive shot. It was again wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha in a frame, who had shared his thought with his captain Virat Kohli – to go for a review when stand-in umpire turned down the decision.

However, the replays also suggested there was a huge inside edge only to see Kohli nodding his head in utter distress.

The 28-year-old Kohli definitely needs to work on how he goes for such DRS reviews like he goes for his batting in the nets.

Here’re some of the interesting time-lines of tweets on Virat Kohli’s DRS duty:
