Huge! Arsenal And Barcelona To Fight For Everton Man As Their Next Manager 1

The transfer window before the start of the current season saw a number of star players switch their allegiances but what was surprising was the number of managers who switched clubs in the summer.

A number of managers also shifted clubs in the summer with the likes of Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte all finding new clubs in the summer.

And this summer will not be different with some of the top clubs in Europe trying to replace their managers at the end of the season.

A number of top class managers will be actively searching for jobs in the summer and two clubs who will accept some CVs are Spanish outfit Barcelona and English outfit Arsenal.

The La Liga giants, who won the domestic title in each of the last two years under current manager Luis Enrique, are currently in the 1st place in the points table in Spain.

They lead by just a point, having played an extra game, and are also within touching distance of crashing out of the Champions League after their atrocious loss to PSG in the first leg of the Round-16 tie not too long ago.

This lack of consistency saw Luis Enrique’s position at the club come under scrutiny and with pressure constantly increasing, the Spanish manager decided to announce that he will quit the club at the end of the season.

Similarly, Arsenal, who have failed to lift the Premier League trophy in more than a decade, are currently out of the top-4 in the points table in the domestic league in England and their 5-1 loss to Bayern has already knocked them out of the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger, the current manager at the club, has been under severe pressure since the turn of the year and though reports suggest that the club have offered him a new contract, Wenger is yet to put pen to paper.

He is officially out of a contract at the end of the season and Arsenal are looking for some able replacements this summer.

And one name that both Barcelona and Arsenal are trying to lure to their club this summer is former Barcelona player and former Southampton manager Ronald Koeman.

Currently working at the Goodison Park with the Toffees, Koeman has been impressive in his time at the club and helped Southampton to their best ever PL finish in the previous season, before moving on to Everton.

His side are currently 7th in the points table, not too far away from a place in Europe but Koeman has now become a man in demand.

According to the Mirror Arsenal are convinced that he is the man to replace Wenger at the Emirates when Wenger leaves.

However, Arsenal will have to fend off competition from Spain as Koeman is also wanted at the Camp Nou.

Though having not worked with the biggest clubs in Europe, Koeman has enough experience and exposure at the highest level and is ready to take on the biggest clubs in the world

But where do you think Koeman will be, come the start of the next season?
