Love Virat's Aggression: Tweets Dale Steyn After India Skipper Led His Team To Victory In Bengaluru 1

India skipper Virat Kohli might have been facing some flak from the former Australian players and the Aussie media due to his on-field antics in the ongoing series against the team from Down Under but the flamboyant Indian batsman has found a big fan in South Africa pacer Dale Steyn.

The 28-year old is known to wear his heart on his sleeves and he has not let his competitive attitude take a back sit against Steve Smith’s men. The Delhi star targeted Australia’s batsmen with verbals throughout the second day of the recently concluded Bengaluru Test. He was involved in a verbal battle with his Australia counterpart Steve Smith before he tried to unnerve opener Matt Renshaw by reminding him of the toilet break he took in the Pune Test.

The likes of Ian Healy, Mark Waugh have criticised Kohli for his on-field attitude but the Indian star was totally unfazed by it and went on to display the competitive side of his personality as he led the team to a 75-run win over the Aussies. The right-handed batsman was as pumped up as one can ever imagine on the fourth day of the second Test as the Indian bowlers dismissed the Australian team for only 112 to level the series.

And his aggression has now won him a notable admirer- Proteas star Dale Steyn. Expressing his love for his former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate, Steyn tweeted:“Love Virat’s aggression. Imagine if he was a fast bowler ?”
