Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are ready to make a swoop for Arsenal star forward Alexis Sanchez this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The 28-year old only has 18 months left on his current contract and is expected to leave the club in summer after reportedly falling out with manager Arsene Wenger. He has been in fine form for Gunners this season but could leave the club as the team have not played great football off late.
Sanchez was benched in the crucial game against Liverpool at Anfield and was subbed off during their 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich in Champions League on Tuesday at Emirates.
He was seen waving off to the fans while being subbed off which also suggests that it could be his last Champions League game for the club.
Arsenal embarrassingly lost 10-2 on aggregate to Bayern Munich in the tie and have looked way below par when came against Europe’s elite in the past few years.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are expected to be favourites to land him in summer as the Ligue 1 giants are keen to add big names to push for European glory after signing the likes of Angel di Maria, Julian Draxler in the recent windows. He has also drawn interest from Chinese clubs apart from a host of other European clubs.
However, Italian newspaper Tuttosport reveals that Juventus and Inter Milan are desperate to land the talented winger this summer as he is highly expected to leave London. The Italian duo has been reportedly monitoring his situation for the past few months and believe that he can be a huge addition to their respective squads for next season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Arsene Wenger are still hopeful that the Chilean would sign a new contract at the club as they have tabled their deal. Despite months of negotiations between the player’s representatives and club officials, no agreement was reached and the Gunners might very well lose one of their star players.
