Former WIPA CEO and President Dinanath Ramnarine has said on his personal Twitter account that Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard have been snubbed from the West Indies team for the ICC World Cup 2015.

This tweet from Ramnarine has come as a surprise considering the fact that WICB are yet to officially announce the 15-man squad for the event. As per the reports in ESPNcricinfo, WICB, when were asked about the Ramnarine’s tweet, “neither confirmed nor denied” the news and asked to wait for the final announcement which is likely to take place on January10th.

Last month, the selection panel headed by Clive Lloyd, had dropped Bravo, Pollard and Darren Sammy (who is now in the squad) from the five-match ODI series versus South Africa, following contractual disputes involving the players, the board and the players’ association.

Squad: Jason Holder, Marlon Samuels, Sulieman Benn, Darren Bravo, Jonathan Carter, Sheldon Cottrell, Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine, Denesh Ramdin, Kemar Roach, Andre Russell, Darren Sammy, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Smith, Jerome Taylor.
