Asia Cup 2023: Asia Cup Schedule & Time Table, Venue, India & Other Squads, Host Country And Asia Cup Updates: Asia Cup 2023 is one of the biggest tournaments of the year and is scheduled to take place just before the much-anticipated ICC World Cup 2023. The only continental championship in cricket, Asia Cup is played in both the white-ball formats – 50 overs and 20 overs.

The format depends on the upcoming ICC global event. While the tournament originally started as an ODI event in 1984, the governing body later decided that it would be played in the T20 format too. Asia Cup was played in the T20 format for the first time in 2016.

Asia Cup 2023 Venue:

While Pakistan were originally awarded the hosting rights for Asia Cup 2023, it looks highly unlikely that they would be able to host the competition this year. The reason behind it is Team India’s stance over not visiting Pakistan due to the poor bilateral relations between the two countries. BCCI secretary Jay Shah has already announced that Team India won’t visit Pakistan.
