10 Bold Predictions for IPL 8 this week

The excitement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is mounting again on the people across the globe as its eighth season is about to reach the stage where each and every game would turn out to be important from each team’s perspective. Rajasthan Royals (RR) have gained the early momentum by winning five matches in a row whereas Mumbai Indians (MI), after losing four consecutive matches, have started to come to terms and would like to have a few more victories under their belt to stay in the hunt. 

But with the tournament, which is unpredictable in itself, might witness the following 10 bold predictions come true for the matches in the upcoming week: 

–> Delhi Daredevils (DD) to acquire a spot in top two.

–> Imran Tahir to remain as the highest wicket-taker of the tournament. (Currently has 9 scalps in 4 matches)

–> Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) unbeaten streak to be ended (most likely by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)).

–> Ravindra Jadeja to dropped by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on the account of poor performances.

–> Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to lose both their matches against KKR and MI.

–> Virat Kohli to be back in form.

–> A Successful chase of 200 runs (RCB-CSK clash is a possible run-feast).

–> CSK’s offie R Ashwin to get the better of KXIP’s swashbuckling batsman Glenn Maxwell.

–>  A possible first 5-wicket haul of this tournament and the suitable contender to achieve this feat is KKR’s mystery spinner Sunil Narine.

–> RR’s Deepak Hooda to finish with most number of sixes by the end of the week. (Currently, he is two behind Brendon McCullum, who is leading the charts with 11 sixes).
