After a great run in the qualifiers and the first match of the 2014 CLT20 tournament, New Zealand Champions Northern Knights face a tough task of qualifying for the semi finals. They face Group B leaders Kings XI Punjab in a must-win game that begins later tonight. Knights, after trashing Cobras by quite a big margin b D/L method, lost their way against Hobart Hurricanes with a 86 run loss a couple of nights ago.

The Knights will look to regroup themselves against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali. Punjab, on the other hand, will look to qualify for the semi-finals with a win over the Kinghts.Punjab has been sensational in the tournament as all their players are contributing towards the success of the team. Punjab dasher Glenn Maxwell is in due for a big one and the crowd will hope for him to fire on all cylinders. Even Virender Sehwag will look to pile on some runs as he is running out of time for making it to the World Cup,

The wicket at the PCA stadium behaves like a perfect track for a cricket match as it assists both bowlers and the batsmen. Early on it assists the bowlers and as the game progresses, the batsmen will cash in.
