Twitter has a different version on an offer, as two quality teams; England and Australia are battling in group A’s last league match which is further a virtual knockout game for Steven Smith side at Edgbaston.
England bowlers made a decent comeback while containing the batsman to restrict the traditional Ashes rivals on 277 for nine in 50 allotted overs.
For England, leg-spinner Adil Rashid and fast bowler Mark Wood pulled things back after Australia was looking to register a big score, as both claimed four wickets each while maintaining the line and length.
Wood conceded 33 runs in his quota of 10 overs, as Rashid gave away just 41 runs which further saw Ben Stokes claiming a wicket after leaking 61 runs in his eight overs.
Showing promise with the bat when wickets were falling at the other end, the left-handed batsman Travis Head rose to the occasion and scored an unbeaten 71 off 64 balls, as his innings was laced with five boundaries and two sixes.
Aaron Finch, who anchored the innings at the top with skipper Steven Smith, as both posted 96 runs on the board for the second wicket, was dismissed by Stokes when skipper completed a simple catch. Finch registered eight boundaries in his 64-ball 68-run knock.
Steven Smith (56 off 77) registered his fifty, as the last five batsmen were able to score seven runs on the individual basis. The Twittersphere has hailed Jason Roy, who completed a sensational catch while jumping to perfection at the boundary line while maintaining his balance – to see dangerman Glenn Maxwell trudging off the ground after scoring 20 off 31 deliveries, as his wicket opened the flood gates which further saw hosts putting down couple of catches.
Coming to bat, Australia lost the first wicket at the score of 40 when David Warner (21 off 25 balls) was caught by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler on the bowling of Mark Wood. Earlier, England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and asked Australia to bat first after winning first two matches convincingly.
Both the sides had shown enough faith in their respective Playing XI’s, as Australians were aiming to have a full game after witnessing the two wash-outs before taking on England.

Great catch by Jason Roy to dismiss Maxwell. Small things give you the confidence to go out there and score runs.#ENGvAUS
