South Africa has been a team which has never won the World Cup. They have choked under pressure in knock out rounds which lead to elimination of the team. In 2015 World Cup to be played in Australia and NewZeleand , South Africa has been in fine form of late.

Here we look at the top 5 top South African players that can win the World Cup 2015.


AB de Villers is one of the finest players in World Cricket today. His batting helps the South African batting to put the team in strong position. In the current One day International series against West Indies he scored the fastest century in ODI cricket. He can play according to situation and disturbs the line, length of the bowlers. In World Cup 2015 his role will be of utmost important. Coming at Number 4 will give him time to settle. He can be used as a floater.

Dale Styen is one of the prime bowlers for South Africa on whom the team will depend upon. His opening spells will be crucial as the role for the top bowler is to pick wickets at start and does not allow the batsmen to settle.
