Cricket is a religion in India and no one has the audacity to doubt that! A major reason for saying such a statement is that even kids who are younger than 10 years of age follow the game religiously and have a sense of personal pride associated with the game.

Several renowned Indian cricketers in the past have started playing the game at a really young age. The first name that appears in mind is that of Indian batting maestro Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, who made his international debut at the tender age of 16. By the time he turned an adult, he was already a respected name and a superstar.

Recently, on a video uploaded on social media, a 7 year old kid is spotted batting in the nets with full batting equipment on his body. The kid’s name is Vasu, who barely is taller than the stumps behind him! But the way he is batting, it definitely seems that he is gifted! His batting video is viral across the internet, where he can be seen playing some authentic text book cricket strokes.

The footwork and technique displayed by Vasu will even put some current batsmen to shame and watching him bat is just a treat to the eyes. The way he advances down the track to launch a big one, it does remind viewers of some worshipped batsmen. So is Vasu, the next kid who will make it large in cricket? By the looks of it, it definitely seems so!

Check out the video below, to watch the batting of the wonder boy Vasu.
