The stylish southpaw has made use of the slot pretty well, as he smashed a scintillating century against Australians in the recent ODI series. Meanwhile, in an interview after the glorious knock, David Miller cited that it is really tough to fill AB de Villiers shoes.

In an interview with Cricketnext, David Miller cited that it is always a tough job to replace someone like AB de Villiers. He was also not sure whether they can deliver one more player like him or not.
However, it added that life moves on and they are trying to get the best squad, who can win the matches for South Africa. He went on to add saying the atmosphere in the dressing room has been quite positive.
“Yes, we have big shoes to fill. Actually, I don’t think we will be able to fill it, to be honest with you. But at the same time as I said to so many people, someone steps in and we can still win some games. The atmosphere in the dressing room has been extremely good. Life moves on and we got to take the opportunity when it comes,” Miller told CricketNext.

However, South African Cricket would hope AB de Villiers’ words on David Miller come true, especially, ahead of ICC World Cup 2019. Currently, AB de Villiers is plying his trade in Mzansi Super League 2018.
