After Australian Cricket team skipper Tim Paine, now it is his wife Bonnie Paine, who has invited Indian National Cricket team wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant to babysit her kids.
Meanwhile, India have scripted history winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to become the first India to win a Test series in Australian soil. After going 1-0 up at the Adelaide, the visitor’s went down Perth to level the series at 1-1. However, they stormed back to take an unassailable lead of 2-1 at Melbourne before playing out a rain-marred draw in Sydney to seal the series.
Meanwhile, the heart of the matter took place on day three of the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne. Tim Paine tried to get under the skins of Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant on day three of the third Test which became one of the highlights of the hardly-fought series.
“Tell you what big MS is back in the one-day squad. Should get this bloke down to Hurricanes. They need a batter,” Paine said to Aaron Finch before turning to Pant.
“Fancy that you extend Aussie holiday, beautiful town Hobart too… get him a waterfront apartment. Have him over for dinner. Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids,” he then said to Pant.
However, Rishabh Pant is someone who doesn’t like to hold back things as he gave it back to his counterpart on the very next day when he came out to bat while chasing a mammoth target of 399 runs.
“We have got a special guest here. Have you heard the word temporary captain ever? You [Jadeja] don’t need anything to get him out. Come on lads. He loves to talk, that’s the only thing he can do. Only talking, talking,” Pant said.
On New Year’s day, the whole cricketing fraternity went into a frenzy as Rishabh Pant met Paine’s family to ”babysit” the kids. Tim’s wife, Bonnie Paine took to Instagram and posted a pic of herself with Pant and her kids with the caption Best Babysitter.
However, while it seemed as if this banter might have come to an end, Bonnie Paine was at it yet again. She posted another Instagram story where she was holding her baby. She also tagged Rishabh Pant in the story and asked him if he was free for a babysitting gig.
‘Trying to unpack with a needy baby,” she wrote on her Instragram stroy. “Wondering if @rishabhpant is free for a babysitting gig today,” she added further.
