As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 concluded with Mumbai Indians lifting the trophy, several former cricketers and cricket experts have picked their playing XI according to their parameters.
Ajit Agarkar is the latest one to join them, and he has followed overseas and Indian players balance. Interestingly, he has neither picked Virat Kohli nor the current champion Rohit Sharma in his team.
In a video posted by Star Sports on their YouTube channel, Ajit Agarkar has started by picking SunRisers Hyderabad David Warner and Delhi Capitals Shikhar Dhawan- both are excellent players are number three and number two respectively in the most run-scorer of IPL 2020 list.
No Virat Kohli in Ajit Agarkar’s playing XI:

Batting at number third, rather than picking experienced Virat Kohli, former Indian pacer has picked up the young Ishan Kishan, who had an extraordinary season for Mumbai Indians.
Coming at number four is Ishan’s teammate, Suryakumar Yadav, who was the consistent run-scorer for MI, amassing 480 runs with four half-centuries.
At number five, Ajit Agarkar picks RCB’s batting mainstay AB de Villiers followed by allrounder Hardik Pandya and Marcus Stoinis at No. 6 and 7 respectively. He has left out Kieron Pollard. However, Pandya and de Villiers can easily fill up his shoes.

In the bowling department, he picked up the two best pacers of the league- Kagiso Rabad and Jasprit Bumrah-one is the purple-cup winner, and the other is the current champion. RCB’s Yuzvendra Chahal and KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy are the two spinners in Ajit Agarkar’s team, thus leaving the best spinner Rashid Khan.
Ajit Agarkar’s IPL XI: 1 David Warner, 2 Shikhar Dhawan, 3 Ishan Kishan, 4 Suryakumar Yadav, 5 AB de Villiers, 6 Hardik Pandya, 7 Marcus Stoinis, 8 Kagiso Rabada, 9 Jasprit Bumrah, 10 Yuzvendra Chahal, 11 Varun Chakravarthy.
