Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra kept his swan song in Test cricket alive in Vijay Hazare Trophy as he has taken a hattrick against Jammu and Kashmir while playing for Haryana.

Haryana won the match by 10 wickets in their Group B match of Vijay Hazare Trophy on Sunday. Batting first J&K folded up for 75. Their five batsmen were shown the path of the dressing room for ducks. Medium pacer wrecked havoc of J&K batting side. Patel has taken five wickets for 21 runs in 7 overs.

For J&K Bandeep Singh was the highest run scorer as he scored 24. Ram Dayal and Zahoor Safi were the two other batsmen who managed to cross the double digit.

At the Alur Cricket Stadium, J & K wrapped up inside 22 overs. Mishra has bowled only 2 overs. In his second over he bowled Ram Dayal in the third ball of his over, next batsman Waseem Raza has trapped lbw while Rohit Sharma was the last batsman who was bamboozled by Mishra that helped him to complete the hat trick.

Haryana openers Nitin Saini and Harshal Patel chased down the target in 11 overs.

Saini scored 20 while Harshal scored a 29 ball 54.

This was J&K’s second successive defeat. In their  opening match, they were defeated by Jharkhand while Haryana won their second match after defeating to Karnataka in the second game. They won their first match against Kerala.

Batsmen who scored ducks in the match were Ina Dev Singh, Mithun Manhas, Shubhum Khajuria, Waseem Raza and Rohit Sharma.
