Amit Mishra Expressed Gratitude Tp Frontline Health Workers
Both bowlers had contracted the dreaded virus during the currently-suspended Indian Premier League earlier this month. While Amit Mishra tested positive on May 4, the day the league was indefinitely suspended, Prasidh Krishna joined the list of infected players on May 8.
“Prasidh Krishna has recovered from COVID-19,” a BCCI source told PTI.

Delhi Capitals leg-spinner Amit Mishra took to Twitter to give an update on his recovery and express his gratitude towards the front-line health workers.
“The real heroes. Our Frontline workers. All I can say post my recovery is, You have my support and heartfelt appreciation for all you do,” he tweeted.
“We are deeply grateful to you for all the sacrifices that you and your family are making…#grateful #coronawarriors #bcci #DelhiCapitals,” he added.
Leg-spinner Amit Mishra remains a vital cog in the Delhi Capitals’ machinery. The wily leg-spinner, who has the most hat-tricks in the tournament, has 166 IPL wickets against his name. While the injury cut short his IPL 2020 journey, the veteran spinner picked 6 wickets in 4 games averaging 18.16 before contracting the virus as a result of which IPL 2021 was suspended indefinitely. He is the 2nd highest wicket-taker after Lasith Malinga(170 scalps).
Prasidh Krishna Was 4th Player Of KKR To Contract The Dreaded Covid-19 Virus
Prasidh Krishna, who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders, was the fourth player from the franchise to return a positive test after Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warrier, and Tim Seifert. He had been in home isolation in Bengaluru. The Indian squad is scheduled to assemble in Mumbai on Wednesday and, subsequently, undergo a hard quarantine before its departure to England in the first week of June.

Virat Kohli and his men are scheduled to take on New Zealand in the World Test Championship final from June 18 in Southampton. The five-Test series against England is to be held in August.
Prasidh Krishna made his international debut for the Indian cricket team on 23 March 2021. He became the first Indian bowler to claim a 4 wicket-haul on his ODI debut. In 3 ODIs against England, he picked 6 scalps averaging 29. He also picked 26 scalps in 31 IPL games averaging 40. He picked 8 scalps in 7 games in IPL 2021.
