Dale Steyn, the prominent fast bowler of South Africa has recently recovered from his bout of sinusitis. It can be a bad news for the Indian team as Steyn has the skill and capabilities to take a lot of wickets in a short amount of time.

Commenting on this development, South African coach Russell Domingo stated, “He is fine, there is nothing to be concerned about.”

He also added that the bowler had gone down with a cold and flu during a practice match against Sri Lanka that was held in Christchurch.

It is pertinent to add that Steyn is one of the most devastating fast bowlers. He has taken 152 wickets from 97 one-day internationals. He is also perceived as central to South Africa’s chances of winning a maiden World Cup title.

His return and team up with awesome fast bowlers like Morne Morkel, Vernon Philander, Kyle Abbott and Wayne Parnell can be a cause of concern for the Indian batting line up which was very shaky in their practice match against Australia held in the second week of February. We can only hope that Team India would be up for dealing with this new challenge. Good Luck to Team India. They might need it.
