The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on December 22nd announced the list of the 32 contracted players for 2014-15. Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir, who were in the contract list for 2013-14, have been stripped off. Earlier, both of them were also ignored for the 30 probables for the ICC World Cup 2015. 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who featured in the Grade B last year, has been promoted to the Grade A for this year. Mohammad Shami also makes it to the Grade B list, after being in the Grade C for the previous season. Alongwith Shami, Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu also make to the Grade B list. Parveez Rasool, KL Rahul, Sanju Samson and Kuldeep Yadav also feature in the contract list (Grade C) for the first time on the account of their strong Ranji performances. 

If a player who doesn’t figure in the list of contracted players represents India in a Test match, One-Day International or Twenty20 International during the season, he will be placed in Grade C.

GRADE A (Rs 1 crore):
MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, R Ashwin & Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

GRADE B (Rs 50 lakh):
Pragyan Ojha, M. Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu & Md. Shami.

GRADE C (Rs 25 lakh):
Amit Mishra, Varun Aaron, Wriddhiman Saha, Stuart Binny, Pankaj Singh, R. Vinay Kumar, Mohit Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni, Parveez Rasool, Axar Patel, Manoj Tiwary, Robin Uthappa, Karn Sharma, Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Yadav & K L Rahul.
