Indians trashed Sri Lankans yet again but this time in the Cricket for the visually impaired part of the Blind Cricket One Day World Cup 2014 as the Indian disabled Team beat Sri Lankan’s team by 140 runs.

India choose to bat after winning the toss and got off to a great start. Last match batting heroes Jayaramaiah and Ketanbhai gave India a great start. Jayaramaiah made a quick fire 47 whereas Ketanbhai score a half century. But the real performance began when Ajaykumar toyed the Sri Lankan bowling. He shared a 110 run stand with Muhudkar who made 42.

Ajay managed to score a mammoth 159 during his stay off just 95 balls with 25 boundaries before been runout. However, the runs kept coming with Deepak coming at No.7 scored an unbeaten 78 in just 33 deliveries with 11 fours and a six helping Indian team to end at a huge total of 429 for 6 in 40 overs.

In response to Indian’s 430, Sri Lankans never looked like chasing. Even though they kept getting runs, they failed to get the required run rate. Opener Ruwan and No.4 batsman Wanniarachciige hit fifties scoring 60 and 62 respectively. No other batsman contributed well to Sri Lankan total as they managed to score just 289 with Extras been top contributor with 71.

India, now have two wins in three games by losing to Pakistan in first game and trashing England in second. The team is positioned second in the 7 team World Tournament. Pakistan topped the table by registering four wins in the four matches they played.
