Karnataka-based batsman KL Rahul is having a purple patch of his life both on the field as well as off the field. He is getting a fair amount of spotlight as his name has been linked with a number of Bollywood actresses recently.
After it was speculated that another Cricket-Bollywood relationship may take place, Niddhi was quick to downplay all such thoughts.
Indian star in making, Rahul became a point to discuss for the Twitter users after Niddhi called him ‘brother’ in an Instagram post.
What actually happened:
Rahul and the actress Niddhi were believed to be dating each other since long. The duo was spotted together on an outing after the culmination of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
A vivid refusal:
The star batsman Rahul then came out clear on his alleged relationship with his friend Niddhi. Not yet, his name was recently popped up following a same kind of rumour with Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa.
However, it was Rahul’s comments on her distinct posts which actually raked up the controversy.

Rahul also reiterated that they are knowing each other since childhood and it was just a casual meet between the two.
“I and Rahul go back a long way. We have known each other since our teenage years before Rahul became a cricketer and I became an actress. Though we did not go to the same college in Bangalore, we have known each other for long,” the actress had said.
Presence of Niddhi:
Pertinently,Niddhi was present at the Lord’s Cricket Ground to cheer for her friend, Rahul during the second ODI.
However, the actress has clearly downplayed the affair which was believed to be.
On her latest Instagram post, she shared a photo of KL Rahul who was fielding during the game.
“All the best bro! @rahulkl,” the actress wrote while putting an end to the rumours many believed in.
