Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo missing from West Indies squad for upcoming Tests vs Australia

Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo are amongst the league of all those who are set to lose out on the opportunity to represent West Indies in the three test series against Australia next month.West Indies on tuesday divulged the names of all those who would fly down under, amongst which the likes of Darren Sammy, Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, who have been out of contention in the test squad for a while now, are missing.Jason Holder shall perpetuate his role as the captain of the team with the likes of Devendra Bishoo, Jomel Warrican and Kraigg Braithwaite supplementing him on the back of excellent performances on their tour to Sri Lanka last month.

Phil Simmons, who had been recently suspended ahead of the ODi series against Sri Lanka due to his eccentric public outburst over repudiation of Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo by the board for the ODI team, is all set to return as the boss for the series after he issues a public statement condemning his gestures and apologising for them.

West Indies are currently engrossed in the last leg of their tour to Sri Lanka, where they have been decimated after being whitewashed 0-2 in the tests and 0-3 in ODis by the island nation on their home turf.They have also managed to lose their first T20 international and are devoid of confidence which makes their prospective of performing against an new look Aussie side playing effectively under the leadership of Steve Smith even more challenging.
