South Africa adds Chris Morris and Duanne Olivier for the final Two Tests against Australia

South Africa adds all-rounder Chris Morris and fast bowler Duanne Olivier for the remaining two Test against Australia. Meanwhile, South Africa came from back to level the series 1-1.
However, Cricket South Africa is planning to release those not playing a part in the Cape Town Test to play for their franchises in the domestic Sunfoil Series.
South Africa added two bowlers to strengthen their bowling attack, which has taken a hit following Kagiso Rabada’s suspension. Rabada’s participation at Newlands is subject to the results of his appeal against the Level 2 charge.
Meanwhile, Dale Steyn remains out of the squad after sustaining an injury during the Tests series against India.
“Circumstances have forced us to name a large squad at this stage so that we can cover all possible options,” Linda Zondi said. “Once we have finalised our playing XI, we will release players to their franchises for the final round of the Sunfoil Series.
“We have retained the 15 players who produced an excellent performance to level the Test Series in Port Elizabeth. Olivier was the pick of our bowlers for South Africa A in their tour match against Australia while Morris has been in excellent form in domestic cricket, taking four wickets in an innings and making more than 150 runs, including a century, for the Titans in the Sunfoil Series against the league-leading Warriors,” concluded Zondi.
Meanwhile, Morris and Olivier haven’t played Test cricket in 2018. Morris appeared in the South African whites came during against at The Oval in July 2017. While Olivier impressed in a tour game against Australia claiming 4 for 74 at Benoni.
The third Test starts on March 22 at Cape Town.
