Following some exciting & interesting games in CLT20, KKR and Lahore Lions game too produce one exciting end after the Knight Riders messing up in chase after formidable opening stand but managed to go past the line with just 3 balls to spare.

After winning the toss, like other team Gambhir decided that his team will field. But the openers of Lahore Lions have some other ideas. With some help from Wicket keeping and ground fielding of KKR, the Lions utilized to score more. Openers gave a good start putting up 50 before a direct hit from Russell seen the end of Jamshed. Shehzad, who got two lives from Bisla, the wicket keeper went on to score a crucial half century. He was sent back by Chawla in 13th over for 59. It eventually began the collapse of Lahore Lions as they were torn into 105 for 6 by 16th over thanks to a brilliant over from Narine. But Umar Akmal with some help from Riaz smashed 46 in last 4 overs helping their team to end up at 151.

Chasing a moderate total of 151, Knight Riders were powered to a quick start, thanks to their Captain Gambhir who opened up well in the start helpong his counter partner to take his time to settle. Once Uthappa settled down he was looking more aggressive than Gambhir. Like KKR’s fielding help Lions, the Lions’ fielding too help a bit for the IPL champions. The openers put on 100 in 75 balls before Uthappa cleaned up by Rasool for 46. Gambhir who looked in a fine touch scored a 46 ball 60 before he was sent back by Cheema. After his dismissal added 34 runs lossing 4 wickets, which included set backs of Bisla, Pathan, Doeschate and Russell as the required equation was brought down to 5 off 5 balls. But Surya Kumar Yadav needed just 2 balls to complete it as he was unbeaten on 14 off just 5 balls helping his team to cross the border.
