The Champions League T20 is getting ready to start to produce some cracking Cricket-tainment but surely it is incomplete with a cracking contests that takes place between the Netizens, well called the Fantasy League bringing the people in to a world of Fantasy and giving an exciting feeling of owing a team even though you are sure about ending well short of toping the leader boards.

Compared to Indian Premier League‘s Fantasy League the number playing the CLT20’s gets reduced; been the main reason is failing short of knowledge over the teams apart from the IPL’ as the most of the Fantasy players are found in India itself. But Sportz Wiki doesn’t allow you miss out an exciting element, so we try to share out some picks that can become your best bets by end of the rounds. As the CLT20 Fantasy league allows you to change your squads between the rounds, this article is based on the teams that are taking part in the qualifying stages.

Lahore Lions:

A team filled with stars just like MI who are possibly expected to be one of the two team playing in main tournament from qualifiers.

Best Picks: Md Hafeez, S Naseem, Ahmed ShehzadWahab Riaz

Hafeez, Riaz and Shehzad will always be our best possible picks given the fewer names we know. To it Saad Naseem a typical all-rounder can be added due to his ability to score runs as well as picking up wickets.

Smart Picks: Aizaz CheemaUmar Akmal

Akmal is well known T20 player and can be utilized in alternate to other options. It will be good thing to try out with Cheema, who was brilliant with the ball in Faysal Bank T20, where he picked 11 wickets in 5 games.

Dangerous Picks:

You might be troubled picking other than those especially Nasir Jamshed who hasn’t performed well in their tournament and lost the touch of playing too.

Mumbai Indians:

Mumbai Indians is a well-known team to normal cricket fan but if you go out without knowing their present situation, you are in trouble.

Best Picks: Ambati Rayudu, Harbhajan SinghLasith Malinga

In Rohit’s absence, Rayudu, Bhajji and Malinga have become crucial aspects for Mumbai Indians. Rayudu who has been special performer for MI has variable role as a batsman & keeper helping you to not pick a special keeper. Harbhajan has been best pick during IPL even when he failed to pick wickets he bowl tight producing cheap points in Fantasy. Does Malinga requires any intro? A regular wicket taker and economical bowler produce you a lot of points.

Smart Picks:

Given that MI aren’t sure over the final 5 overseas players, Micheal Hussey & Lendle Simmons aren’t sure over their spots. These two having been handy picks in IPL season, can be the same this time but their choosing must be decided between the time of toss and closing time only. Some other smart choices can be in form of Shreyas Gopal, who done a reasonable job in Ojha‘s failure, Praveen Kumar who is a decent opening swing bowler can give us cheap points with economy and Jasprit Bumrah a typical slinging action possessing bowler who has been a good death bowler and key strike bowler and some other Indian players like Tare & Saxena who can save up the budget.

Dangerous Picks:

Despite being the Captain, Pollard‘s picking in our teams is a tough decision watching his failure in IPL. However, he can be picked up only if he shows up the typical Pollard in him that we have witnessed. Another muscular all-rounder Corey Anderson isn’t sure over his spot in team and may be utilized when they will be in a position they were in the IPL to enter Play offs.

Northern Knights:

Northern Knights is another team filled with stars but limited to fewer due to our knowledge.

Best Picks: Williamson, StyrisT BoultJ Boult

Going with known names will be best idea given our knowledge over New Zealand cricket where Kane & Scott can be a decent all-rounders along with the Boult brothers who will be firing the balls out like guns.

Smart Picks: Daryl Mitchell, Daniel Harris, Daniel FlynnAnton Devich

The D’s Daryl, Daniel’s & Devich are probably least known among the team who can burst out the teams ranking to a bigger level. Mitchell was consistent with bat, Flynn a known name & captain of the team, Devich a good batting all-rounder & Harris a brilliant scorer with bat in HRV cup can help you team with their performances.

Southern Express:

At the start, the team’s big pick & the best looked like Dilshan but his pulling out meant we lost a must in player in our teams.

Best Picks: J MubarakS Prasanna

The two are a bit familiar names due to playing in the international level. With loss of crucial players like Dilshan, Malinga these two players will be seen doing more worthy performance. Mubarak was their top scorer in Super 4s tournament and Prasanna did a good show up with both bat & ball.

Smart Picks:

Pathirana was their best bet as he picked up 7 wickets in just 3 games and Dilruwan Perera a name came in lime light after recent international series was a decent performer with both bat and ball. Kusal Perera is another name who came be a useful player considering the names which we aren’t familiar with and tough to predict the other players given that only 4 matches been played by the team.

Making Subs:

For the 6 games in qualifiers, 12 subs have been allotted which can be enough with the first game doesn’t require any changes as the lock in begins only from Game 1. Ideally we now have subs to be made at least 2 per game.

Choosing Captain:

People biggest concern will be picking the power player for team, aka Captain who can double the points. As always picking a player who can perform multi roles, i.e. an all-rounder who does get to face decent number of balls and gets to bowl a minimum of 2 overs with ball.

Here is my initial team which I have set for the day 1. Better don’t prefer this as I do more brain fades by expecting too much from a player but ending up far from my expectations.

Note: This is just to create an idea over the players and the risk picking some names. So we cannot ensure you that you will top the leader board by sake of our article.
