Commentators who are loved by fans across the world!

For fans who flock the cricket grounds every season to get a glimpse of their favorite players, it is an experience that is hard to forget.

But for the viewers who are in front of their Television sets, the one thing that makes the whole viewing experience memorable is the efforts of the commentary team.

The intensity of a game played thousands of miles away from the actual TV set is hard for the viewers to experience but the commentators who are given the job to keep the game interesting play a huge role in conveying the atmosphere on the ground in the best possible manner to the audience.

Though there are a lot of innovations even in this segment of the sport, TV commentary is one of the most important aspect of the game as it helps increase the viewership with direct effect.

This is the reason why the fans look forward to the release of the list of commentators for a tour as much as they do for the players involved.

With that much of an importance attached, there is no doubt that the fans adore some of the commentators and dislike some.

So let’s take a look at 5 commentators who are popular not just in their country but around the world:

One of the best commentators to have ever took the place, Richie Benaud is not known for his exciting description of the game.

But he is one of the most knowledgeable commentators around the world and is a classy operator. He is the oldest serving commentator at the moment and has been known as the voice of cricket for many years now. His insights into the game are quite exemplary and his view of the game is interesting.

He has the ability to keep a viewer stuck to the sets and is one of the best Test commentators ever in the game.
