The BCCI has made it clear that the 3rd ODI between India and West Indies will be played at Vizag itself. With the aeas around Vizag likely to be hit be cyclone, it was thought that the venue will be shifted from Vizag to Dharamshala but it is not to be. BCCI clarified that a venue cannot be shifted in such a short notice with so many problems likely to cause problems and hoped that the match is carried out smoothly on 14th October at Vizag.

BCCI said that maybe the pitches can be ready but problems like logistics will remain there. The cylcone ‘Hudhud’ is likely to hit the city tomorrow and heavy rain is being expected which has already started in some parts . But Andhra Cricket Association Secretary Gokaraju Gangaraju  has said that they have made arrangements so that not a single drop of the cyclone rain reaches the ground , until and unless it rains on that very day.

He also added that they have very good drainage facility and added that BCCI has full faith in them and they have BCCI’s support. At present , the ground is fully covered and there’s no way rain can enter there.

The 3rd match of the series might well decide the way the series will be going , with the team leading after that will have a better chance of winning the series
