Indian discard Vinay Kumar has joined Mumbai Indians for the 2015 edition of the IPL. Unmukt Chand has also joined Mumbai Indians . Vinay Kumar was previously In Kolkata Knightriders , but got very less chances because of the abundant pace bowling resources already present there. Unmukt Chand was in Rajasthan Royals and did not fit in their policy .
The first trading window for IPL 8 opened on 6th October and will close on 15th December. This trade by Mumbai Indians comes as the first one for the 8th season.
While Mumbai Indians have pulled in 2 domestic players in Vinay Kumar and Unmukt Chand, they have released out Australian Mike Hussey and Indian Praveen Kumar, who was included in the squad of the 7th season as a replacement player.

IPL 8 will start on 8th April 2015 and will conclude on 24th May 2015. IPL 8 will only be playd in India , unlike IPL 7 where a segment of it was played in UAE due to the elections in India.
