Kenny Benjamin
Cricketers who were named after famous predecessors 1

The Antiguan fast bowler, who has played for West Indies, had a great prospect to play longer for Windies. His middle names are Charlie Griffith, a menacing Barbadian fast bowler of the 1960s. Charlie – most people’s choice as the bowler they least enjoyed facing during their career – took 94 wickets in 28 Tests, many of them in a fabled new-ball partnership with Wes Hall. Kenny had very similar figures: 92 wickets in 26 Tests, at an average a run or two higher.
