India was bundled out for just 36 runs in their second innings in the first Test against Australia in Adelaide, losing the day/night Test by 8 wickets. India bounced back to win the second Test in Melbourne, showed remarkable resilience to draw the third Test in Sydney, and won the fourth Test in Brisbane for their second successive Test series triumph on Australian soil.
As India gets ready to face New Zealand in the WTC final, Australia batsman David Warner has praised the energetic youngsters in the team and said that the Indian team will be a force to reckon with in the years to come.
“When you take the captain (Kohli) away, who is a world-class player and has a lot of runs on the board, and you’ve got this youth coming with energy and performing against us the way they did, I think they are going to be a force to be reckoned with,” David Warner said on Sports Today.

“The IPL has been a great platform and you have to give credit to Rahul Dravid. It seems like he is doing a fantastic job through the pathway system to get these players ready for international cricket. It showed when they came to play us here. In the future India is going to be a very formidable side in Test cricket as they are now,” David Warner signed off.
Rahul Dravid, former India skipper, and current National Cricket Academy (NCA) head will coach the Indian limited-overs team that will play a six-game series (3 T20Is, 3 ODIs) against Sri Lanka in July. Apart from Rahul Dravid, the coaching staff will consist of members of Rahul Dravid’s team from the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Rahul Dravid This will be Rahul Dravid’s second stint with the Indian team after working with the Men in Blue as a batting consultant during the England tour in 2014.
Shikhar Dhawan will captain the 20 members Indian side while Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the vice-captain of the team during the tour of Sri Lanka.
