Despite turning heads with his sensational performances with the ball in the last one year or so, Rashid Khan just cannot catch a break due to his physical appearance.
The Afghanistan star is just 18-years-old, but looks a bit older and has his age consequently a subject of troll across social media. Well, it looks like not only the fans but also the cricketers try to poke fun at Rashid for his age, and David Warner’s recent tweet proves it.
It all began when Australian all-rounder Dan Christian took to Twitter to wish Rashid after Adelaide Strikers signed him for the upcoming season of the Big Bash League.
“Brilliant to see Rashid Khan joining the @BBL, he’s a superstar that’s experienced beyond his years…” Christian tweeted.

However, little did Christian know that Warner would hilariously interpret his tweet. The Australian opener, who was Rashid’s captain in this year’s IPL, tweeted:
“Beyond his years ???@danchristian54 #genius @rashidkhan_19”

Meanwhile, Rashid is delighted after becoming the first Afghanistan player to join Australia’s domestic T20 league.
“I am very happy to have signed with the Strikers for the BBL,” Rashid said. “It is a huge honour to be a part of such a great tournament and even more of an honour to be the first Afghanistan player to participate on the BBL stage. I look forward to linking up with my Strikers teammates and backroom staff.”
Earlier this year, he became the first player from his country to play in the IPL. The leg-spinner had lived up to the expectations, as he finished the tournament with 17 wickets to his name. Recently, he took 14 wickets in the Caribbean Premier League including a hat-trick and will be hoping to do well in Australia too.
