MS Dhoni

Indian captain’s winning six at Wankhede against Sri Lanka in 2011 World final is hammered in every fans’ memory time and again. On Saturday, though, he hit a massive six over keeper’s head of a mistimed pull shot in a warm match against South Africa. South Africa batting first scored 196 for 9. India started the chase well as Shikhar Dhawan scored 73 and Suresh Raina added 41 runs.

Yuvraj Singh scored 16run in his short innings and Dhoni launched an onslaught as he scored 30. He hit four boundaries and one six.

But India were four runs short of victory. India lost only three wickets. However, most of the Indian batsmen after good practice left the field that with a feeling that India has momentum.

However, India were successful in their plan to give practice to as many players as possible as win or loss does not matter in this match. So they got a good batting practice after bowlers were too much generous.

South Africa, one of the favourites of the tournament, hammered Indian bowlers batting first. Most of their batsmen know Indian pitches very well.
