Professional Sri Lankan cricketer Dilruwan Perera has got the chance in Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Test series. He is being replaced in place of Akila Dananjaya who was alleged for a suspect action. He will now have to undergo a biomechanics assessment in the next 12 days.

Dilruwan Perera will play in a second and final Test match in three-match Test series against New Zealand. He is the fastest Sri Lankan to take 100 Test wickets only in 25 games. He can be proved as a valuable asset for Sri Lankan Squad. His runs through his bat in crucial time has hugely helped the Sri Lankan team.

Perera is the fastest Sri Lankan to take 100 Test wickets only in 25 matches. He was the first Sri Lankan to take ten wickets and score a half-century in the same Test. He has played 38 Tests and taken 153 wickets.

But in the New Zealand tour in December 2018, he proved to be expensive for the Sri Lankan team. As he only took six wickets in the four-match Test series.

Dilruwan Perera is master in his Home ground and has taken some crucial wickets for his team. In the Test match against South Africa, he took ten wickets and made South Africa all out in just 73 runs.
