Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik tied the knot with India’s ace squash player Dipika Pallikal in a Christian ceremony followed by the Telugu ceremony will hold on August 20. Dipika had earlier hosted a bachelorette party which was attended by all girls and 15 of her close friends were invited.

“Dipika had a blast on Sunday afternoon at her bachelorette party. Keeping to the theme of the party, all the guests were dressed in pink. However, Dipika sported a white dress, with a huge pink veil. Her Australian coach Sarah Fitz-Gerald was one among the guests,” a source was quoted as saying Times of India.

Dipika has practiced five dances for the Sangeet ceremony. Dinesh Karthik will join her for one.



“For the last three days Dipika has been busy practising her dance moves, as she is going to perform at the sangeet, which will be held tonight. She will dance to five songs, out of which, Dinesh will join her for one. He has been busy rehearsing for his number as well.”

The source also revealed the costume and jewellery of the Sangeet ceremony, “Dipika was recently on a trip to the US where she purchased a designer wedding gown for the Christian ceremony. Customised jewellery has also been designed for Dipika. She will be wearing the exquisite collection for both the Christian as well as the Hindu wedding ceremonies.” 

This will be Dinesh Karthik’s second marriage since he divorced Nikita Banjara, who is now the wife of his teammate Murali Vijay.
