The lead female star of the upcoming ‘Malang’ – the Bollywood movie, Disha Patani names the match-winning player of India. During the media interaction at the promotional event for her upcoming film, the Bollywood actress was asked to pick her favourite Indian cricketer.

Coming in a long way in her career to achieve a successful career in the Hindi film industry, Patani roped her way into the Telegu film industry in 2015. She debuted in the Telegu film ‘Loafer’ alongside Varun Tej where Disha played the role of Mouni, a girl who runs from home to escape a forced marriage.

However, the movie went down poorly among the audience but it helped her to leave a significant remark for the Bollywood directors to notice her abilities. Following the failure of ‘Loafer’, Patani featured in a music video by T-series, ‘Befikre’ with Tiger Shroff.

However, the Uttarakhand beauty got the big commercial break in her Bollywood career in 2016. She made her Bollywood debut in the biopic of the Indian veteran cricketer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Disha played the role of the first girlfriend of the former skipper Dhoni, who died in a car accident.

After that, the Bollywood actress was accoladed for her brilliance in the Hindi movie industry. Disha featured in Baaghi2 with Tiger Shroff, the movie was the sequel for Baaghi. And, now the Bollywood Diva will be seen in the upcoming ‘Malang’ along with Aditya Roy Kapoor.

During a promotional event for her upcoming movie, the 27-year-old actress was asked by the media professionals to name her favourite cricketer from India.

Responding to the question, Disha named Jasprit Bumrah as the match-winning player of India.

Disha Patani said, “If I had to pick a matchwinning player, it would be Jasprit Bumrah. He is one of the finest players we have.”

Bumrah, in the meantime, is the world’s top-ranked Indian pacer who is a death-bowling specialist.
