After a great comeback from the England team, both teams will fight it out one last time in the deciding match at Old Trafford. The England team has played some attacking cricket in the last 2 games scoring 300 and then chasing down a big score in the last match. It promises to be a mouthwatering clash with both teams wanting to win the series for their countries.
In this series the England batting has looked good. The openers Jason Roy and Alex Hales have given England a solid start, while James Taylor has contributed, the captain Eoin Morgan has led from front, Ben Stokes have not contributed much with bat, Bairstow who came as a replacement has done well with bat, Moeen Ali has made contribution with the bat and ball. In the bowling department David Willey did a great job by picking top 3 wickets of Australia in the 4th ODI, while Rashid has been the pick of bowlers for England in this series.
Australia had problems in the 4th ODI with top 3 wickets going in quick succession. The top order comprises of Joe Burns and Aaron Finch, followed by captain Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell who did an excellent job with bat and ball in 4th ODI, Bailey also contributed, Matthew Wade , Marsh have done well in the series. In the 4th ODI John Hastings came in place of Mitchell Starc but was expensive, Pat Cummins was pick of the bowlers for Australia, James Pattison was expensive too. Maxwell also did well with ball in the 4th ODI match.

In the previous match Eoin Morgan played a captains knock and helped his side chase down a big target of 300. He came and attacked the Australian bowlers putting pressure. He scored 92 runs off 90 balls and did not allow the pressure to put on them. In the deciding match tomorrow Eoin Morgan role would be big as the England team needs another captain knock from him to help his side win the series against the Australians.
Moeen Ali was economical in the 4th ODI picking 2 wickets and giving away only 40 runs. When Maxwell and Bailey were going strong for the Australian team he came and picked the important wicket of Maxwell and Stonis. He also contributed with bat scoring 21 vital runs off 23 balls and remained not out till the end of innings.
In the 4th ODI Glenn Maxwell was the most successful player for Australia who contributed with the bat and ball. Australia was struggling at 30 at 3 and scored a quick fire 85 which helped them to recover from a bad start. With the ball picked 1 wicket but gave away only 54 runs. In the field he picked 2 great catches but could not prevent Australia from losing. In the deciding match Glenn Maxwell needs to do the same thing and help Australia win the series.
Pat Cummins has been the pick of the bowlers for Australia in the series so far. When other bowlers were going for runs Pat Cummins came and picked crucial wickets. In his 10 over’s he picked 4 wickets and gave away 49 runs only. In tomorrow deciding match he must be at his best and help Australia winning the series.
