England vs India 2018: Ben Stokes Might Miss the Rest of England’s Test Summer

England might miss the services of Ben Stokes even if he is not charged for his affray charge case at the Bristol Crowne court. In fact, Stokes will definitely miss the third Test match irrespective of the verdict.

The third Test match will take place at Trent Bridge, Nottingham from Saturday, 18 August. Meanwhile, Ben Stokes had already miss the second Test match at Lord’s.

England could miss out on the services of Ben Stokes.

Stokes court case will continue on Monday and it is likely to conclude on Wednesday. Meanwhile, England and Wales Cricket Board will name their 13-man for the third Test match on Tuesday.

In fact, there is a worry that Stokes will not be mentally ready even if he is given a green chit by the court. Furthermore, he could be suspended for his cricket disciplinary hearing.

The cricket discipline process will begin within two days when the trial will end. Meanwhile, the length of any ban will be decided by the England board. Furthermore, the committee will also take into consideration that Ben Stokes has already missed the Ashes series.

Meanwhile, there is a good chance that the talisman will miss the remaining three Test matches against India. As per Daily Mail, the cricket discipline committee might decide that England’s cricket image will suffer if Ben Stokes is selected in the squad. However, a cooling off period can enable the all-rounder to tour Sri Lanka.

On the other hand, England didn’t miss the services of Stokes as Chris Woakes was able to fill in the big shoes. Woakes scalped four wickets and scored his maiden hundred to take England to a convincing win of an innings and 159 runs.
