The bowler’s action review panel of Bangladesh Cricket Board, which came into existence in June two months ago, has booked as much as five bowlers who were found having illegal action during the Dhaka premier league played from April to June. Faisal Hossain, Mohammad Sharifullah, Amit Kumar, Mustafizur Rahman, and Asif Ahmed are the five players who have been booked for having an illegal action. However, they have are allowed to participate in the first class cricket till November 15.
On one side when 5 players were booked for illegal action, on the other hand, the four bowlers have been cleared of illegal bowling action. Moinul Islam, Naeem Islam Jnr, Sanjit Saha and Rezaul Karim are the players whose action have been declared legal. Along with this Mohammad Saifuddin, the fast bowler from Chittagong division has been instructed not to bowl the slower balls.
The committee will now take corrective measures and will conduct another assessment programme in November.
