IPL franchises are craving for an out in front seventh edition of Indian Premier League and now they plighted reinforcement to the just appointed interim head of the BCCI Sunil Gavaskar in order to accommodate the latest edition of the IPL, beginning April 16 in the UAE.

Gavaskar has been delegated as the interim chief of the BCCI by the Supreme Court in contemplation of calling the tune of the competition. He affronted the team on Monday and showed them the ropes on the rundown for the forthcoming season.

Gavaskar had already a meeting with the franchises regarding the conveyance of the cash-rich Twenty20 league; a source from the BCCI has confirmed the news to NDTV. “The franchises shared their points and stretched out their support and responsiveness for a successful Pepsi IPL 2014.” A BCCI release stated.

Gavaskar has already begun surrogating as the president of the Board for IPL issues in the UAE. “I held a meeting with Mr. Ranjib Biswal – Chairman, IPL, and the Management Staff, in Dubai, earlier today. I am convinced that the upcoming season of the Pepsi IPL 2014 will be a successful one,” Gavaskar stated in an audience on March 29.
