From quite a while most of the Indian fans were expecting that something concrete will be done to improve the skill of Indian bowling attack. Now it has been decided that Former Australia paceman Glenn McGrath will be grooming the next generation of Indian pace bowlers. The Chennai-based pace foundation which is headed by him has signed a five-year deal with the Indian cricket board on Tuesday.

It is worthwhile to mention that McGrath is the holder of a glorious record, i.e., 563 wickets in Tests and 381 in one day matches which speak volumes about his talent. McGrath who is also known for his control and accuracy with the ball, will be training India’s current as well as upcoming fast bowlers at the MRF Pace Foundation. Appreciating his association with the MRF Pace Foundation he said “It has been a wonderful couple of years for me at the MRF Pace Foundation. I now eagerly look forward to working with India’s best at the foundation. Our facilities compare favourably with the best in the world and I am eagerly looking forward to this challenge.”

Let us hope that our boys will outperform after improving their skill with the guidance from the dynamic Glenn McGrath.
