Australian skipper Michael Clarke got boost ahead of Ashes series whcih begins later today as he is set to become a father for the first time, as his wife Kyly took to the social media site Instagram to his announce her pregnancy.
“Michael and I are extremely ecstatic to announce that we are expecting our first child,” Kyly posted.
“Can’t wait to meet baby Clarke,” ecstatic Kyly said.

Michael Clarke then followed up his wife’s post with a tweet of his own.
The news comes on the eve of Australia’s first Ashes Test against England in Cardiff, where Australia looking to win their first away Ashes series in 14 years. The skipper will be hoping to get off to a good start in the highly-anticipated series.

Clarke, 34, was part of previous Ashes tour defeat, and he will be desperate to win the Ashes to add the only laurel left in his illustrative career.
It’s is not the first time the Clarkes have let the world know of massive personal news via social media, with the couple revealing their marriage via Micheal Clark’s Twitter account.
