Harbhajan Singh owes success to ‘Golden Generation’ of Indian cricket

Arguably one of the best off spinners of Indian cricketing history, Harbhajan Singh, came out to applaud the golden generation of Indian cricket.

Harbhajan who also has a World Cup to his name said that he was lucky to play alongside the side the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and Anil Kumble said that he owes his success to them.

Harbhajan Singh who has the highest wickets for an off spinner in the country said that the experience and knowledge that they had was vast and that they played a big role in modifying his career.

After his success, Bhajji now wants to pass on the wealth of knowledge to aspiring cricketers at the Delhi Public School in Rajarhat. He added that he wants every player wanting to be play for India to be as successful as he was in Punjab or Mumbai or any other city he is associated with.

Bhajji added that every player has his own set of skills and technique and pointed out the devastating opener is Sehwag who was no-where close to playing conventional cricket. He added that every player’s natural talents are not to be tampered with and that he wants to nurture the natural talent in a disciplined way and help the nation with better players in the game.
