England’s young batting sensation Harry Brook has been voted as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for February 2023. The 24-year-old has been a sensational performer for England in all three formats since he made his debut against the West Indies in 2022. Brook is already touted to be the next big thing in the world of cricket.

Harry Brook pipped India’s Ravindra Jadeja to win this award, who was in contention for the first time in his career. The right-handed batter scored two fifties and a hundred in February against New Zealand.

Besides, this is his second award for Brook in three months as he won the player of the month award in December for a fantastic show against Pakistan. Brook was impressive for England in his short cricketing career so far.

England’s Harry Brook scored his fourth century in test cricket under the challenging condition in New Zealand as he smashed a career-best 186 from 176 balls which included 24 fours and five sixes in his innings.

Harry Brook has so far scored 809 runs from 6 matches at an average of 80.9 with an impressive strike rate of 98.80 in the longer format. Brook has also equalled the legendary Don Bradman’s feat of scoring four centuries in his first six tests. The batter is expected to be a big part of the future of England cricket in all formats of the game.

Will Harry Brook Make A Name For Himself In the Indian Premier League?

IPL 2023 will be the debut season for Harry Brook in Indian Premier League. Hard-hitting England batter Harry Brook was initially part of JSK in SA20, but later pulled out of the event to manage his workload. Brook has also been picked up in the Indian Premier League by the SunRisers Hyderabad for a massive amount of money.

There was a bidding war between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals initially before Sunrisers Hyderabad joined the 13.25 crores. Harry Brook will be a very important player for Sunrisers Hyderabad in that middle order which is less experienced in the league.
