‘Hope They Fixed Your Brains Too’ – KL Rahul Trolls Hardik Pandya In Latest Post
Hardik Pandya will be out of action for three to four months after undergoing back surgery in the UK recently. The news was confirmed by the all-rounder himself on social media. Pandya has been receiving wishes from his fellow players for a speedy recovery.
KL Rahul also sent his wishes to the all-rounder but he also trolled him in his post. Here is Rahul’s wish for Pandya –
The 25-year-old had again suffered back issue during the T20I series against South Africa that saw him miss out on Test selection as well.
Pandya had suffered back issue during Asia Cup 2018, where he was expected to be rested after a long tour of the UK but that didn’t happen. During India’s second match, Pandya suffered the issue and spent close to three months out of the game.
After his comeback for Australia series, he was sent back to India along with Rahul when they were banned, but he returned for the New Zealand series. Since then, Pandya’s workload has been manged as he was also rested for the home series against Australia earlier this year.
On his comeback, he is only expected to be used in white-ball cricket at least till the two T20 World Cups that will be played in the next two years
As far as Rahul is concerned, he is currently playing Vijay Hazare Trophy for Karnataka. The opening batsman was dropped from the Test squad for the ongoing South Africa series post nominal returns in Tests for over a year now.
He got starts in the series against West Indies but failed to convert those in a big knock. He has been replaced by Rohit Sharma at the top of the order, who created history by scoring two centuries in the ongoing Test.
Rahul, Karnataka’s vice-captain in ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, has done well so far. In four matches, he has scored 245 runs, which also includes a century against Kerala. He is expected to be back in the side for the T20I series against Bangladesh next month.
